MODAES.ES: FACET DRIVES GROWTH IN US AND MEXICO MARKET WITH ITS OWN BRAND

Facet is looking to make waves in the US market. Hailing from Catalonia and specialised in the production of fine jewellery, the company is positioning itself under the brand Facet Barcelona. Until now, the company is present in the region through El Palacio de Hierro and prime clients.

In other markets Facet operates as a white label manufacturer and through multi brand channels. Emarkets such as Spain, France Germany, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Russia and the United Kingdom. Due to Brexit, the firm has seen a large decline in sales in this last market.

65% of the company’s income comes from sales in foreign markets. At the same time, the firm manufactures more than 50% of its products for international brands and more than 80% of the jewels it produces are sold on the global stage. In the short term, the firm plans to increase its exports to Austria.

EThe minimum price for Facet products is around 600 euros and the average sale in Europe is around 1,200 euros. In the US, the average sale is around 2,000 euros but in Spain is around 165 euros. It is for this reason that the company is keen to grow sales on the international stage according to José Miguel Serret, Facet CEO.
